Totally Should’ve Book Tag

Hey! So today I’ve decided to do a book tag. The Totally Should’ve Book Tag was created by Emmabooks but I found this tag on Adventures Of A Bookish Girl’s blog. Here we go.

Totally Should’ve:

  • Not Gotten A Sequel

I’m going to cheat a little take this from another angle. Even though I’m not the biggest fan of “The Harry Potter” by J.K Rowling Series, I did enjoy the series and I did feel very disappointed with “The Cursed Child“. Not only did it not follow the original logic given in the series (let’s pretend J.K. Rowling followed her own logic), it completely changed personalities of some characters. I can imagine it was a real let down to die hard fans.

  • Had A Spin Off Series

Nico D’Angelo (and Will Solace) from Percy Jackson and The Olympians, and The Heroes Of Olympus , both by Rick Riordan, should’ve definitely gotten a spin off. Kitty from To All The Boy’s I’ve Loved Before and its sequel’s by Jenny Handefinitely deserves a story dedicated to her.

  • Ended Differently

Definitely the ending to the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth, I will never not be salty about what happened to Tris.

  • Had a TV Show / Film Franchise

The Percy Jackson and The Olympians Series should definitely have a good tv series or a proper movie franchise. I think I would like to see the Dork Diaries series by Rachel Ten Russel play out on the silver screen.

  • Had One Point Of View

I can’t really think of anything for this because every book or series I’ve read with multiple point of views, the multiple POV’s added to the story.

  • Had A Cover Change

The pink covers of Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan are not very appealing to me.

  • Stopped Reading

Should’ve stopped reading The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski, I did not enjoy reading this book and it showed in my rating. I was reading some reviews the other day and it seems most people enjoyed reading so I might give it another try, but if I feel the same I will definitely stop reading as soon as the negative feelings surface.

I also should’ve stopped reading Black Leopard Red Wolf by Marlon James. When I think about it now, the story itself was quite interesting, but the writing and overall execution was not it.

  • Kept the Cover

I honestly feel like they can stop making new editions for The Harry Potter books now. It’s like every month I see there’s a new cover or something. Just calm, no need to be so extra.

  • Not Prejudiced

I was prejudiced against The Harry Potter Series( Last Time I promise) for a good while, once I got into reading because an old friend of mine said that The Percy Jackson and The Olympians series (an all time favorite of mine) is just a greek version of Harry Potter and I was just so offended that I refused to read the series, but then I a friend of mine wanted to have an HP movie marathon and I try to always read the book first so . . . yeah.

I was also prejudiced against the Carve The Mark Series by Veronica Roth because I was so hurt by what she did to Tris.

That’s All I got, Danielle.
