Review
I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
This concept of this story was interesting and the delivery was done well. The characters themselves were interesting but they could’ve been developed at bit more.
I was left wanting for more detective things when the book was over. We did get the Edgar’s POV and we did see him working out and thinking about certain things but he kept a lot of things secret which I think defeated the purposes a bit since we were in his head.
The twists were interesting enough and didn’t feel as if they were pulled out of nowhere. Some things that happened felt like they happened solely to move the plot along and the ending was a bit rushed.
