Rating Scale

Rating: 0.5 out of 5.

Half (.5) a Star is assigned to books I DNFed early on, as in the first quarter of the book or lower. It also means I might not even read a book by the sam author ever again

Rating: 1 out of 5.

One (1) Star is assigned to books that I either completed but have a lot of negative feelings about or I DNFed later on in the book.

Rating: 1.5 out of 5.

One and a Half (1.5) Stars is a rating assigned

Rating: 2 out of 5.

Two (2) Stars is a rating given to books I completed but it had major problems that I could not ignore.

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

Two and a Half (2.5) Stars means I liked a few parts of the book but it had a few problems. I might recommend

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Three (3) Stars means that the book was an average read. It barely had any problems that would cause me to dislike the book but I didn’t enjoy it enough for it to become a favourite of mine. Would recommend.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Three and a Half (3.5) Stars is assigned to a book that almost made it onto my favourites list but there was one problem that prevented that. It could be a problem centring around a character, a plot point , etc. Would recommend.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Four (4) Stars means the book was amazing, made it onto my favourites list but it wasn’t perfect (for me). Highly recommend.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Four and a Half (4.5) Stars means the book was near perfect (for me) except for one small problem that I couldn’t get over. Definitely recommend.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Five (5) Stars means the book was a perfect read for me. Most definitely recommend.
